Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars, as the two most successful online poker sites in the world, have a lot of rivalry. It’s just business.

Full Tilt have recently announced that, on Sunday, they will attempt to break the record for the World’s Largest Poker Tournament. The record is currently held by long-time rival PokerStars who attracted 35,000 online poker players in a tournament last December.

Full Tilt's Record Breaker tournament has been unveiled as the finale to FIVE, a week of events and promotions honouring the fifth birthday of the company. The tournament is scheduled to take place at 15:05 (Eastern Time) on Sunday July 19th, with Full Tilt hoping to attract more than 35,000 online poker players to the table.

The tournament will feature pros such as Howard Lederer, Phil Ivey and Chris Ferguson and have a super-low $5 buy-in. The prize pool will be a guaranteed $250,000 with $250,000 added.
