When the Ongame Network announced that it would respect the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act by suspending all US-facing online poker business, speculation quickly arose that sites still wishing to serve the US would move to the Dobrosft platform.
Full Contact Poker.com (FCP) is the latest to make the move to the Dobrosoft platform and though the new software is still being tested in beta mode, the response seems positive.
Posting in a company forum, FCP spokesman and well-known poker pro Daniel Negreanu wrote said that he supported the move.
'Considering the amount of time Ongame gave FCP to find a new location, I have to say that, overall, I'm extremely pleased with the new network,” Negreanu said. “I'm also very excited about improving FCP over the next few weeks with software upgrades et cetera.'
Players who have tried the new software are being urged to provide feedback and suggestions for improvements via the FCP forum.
