Frankenberger Doing it for Charity

Frankenberger Doing it for Charity

Thursday, 13 December 2012

WPT and double WSOP bracelet winner Andy Frankenberger is currently putting himself up for auction in aid of the WPT Foundation.

The benevolent arm of the World Poker Tour runs a series of charity initiatives throughout the year in order to help maintain such organisations as Conservation International, Enough Project, We Advance and World Central Kitchen.

The latest fundraiser involves Frankenberger, an exclusive seven person poker game inside New York City’s plush Tequila Avon as well as premium cigars and tequila while you play.

Members of the poker community are being encouraged to place a bid on CharityBuzz.com, with the highest bidder at the close of play on December 20th taking the prize package.

At present the top bid is $2,000 but with seven days left to make a potential winning donation that figure is likely to rise and help raise money for some worthwhile causes.
