London's newest card room, the Fox Poker Club is officially open for business. The Shaftesbury Avenue venue celebrated its launch with a special opening party that attracted poker players and poker loving celebs alike.

Irish Poker Awards host Neil Channing was on hand for the VIP tournament alongside PKR customer service operative turned WSOPE winner and now sponsored pro Scott Shelley. The celeb contingent included stars of cult Channel 4 series Teachers, Navin Chowdhry and Adrian Bower, Nathan Barley’s Charlie Condou and TV presenters Hardeep Singh Kohli and Michael Underwood.

Chris North, managing director of Fox Poker Club, said, “It was a fantastic evening – both in terms of the quality of poker played and the general atmosphere. It was nice to see many familiar faces and to welcome many new ones too, and it was particularly good to hear that people were impressed with the venue. We look forward to continue making it a welcoming place for them and a home for poker in the capital.”

The Fox Poker Club is currently playing host to the PKR.com London Calling Festival. The full schedule can be found by clicking here.
