FlopTurnRiver.com (FTR) has added to its free features with a hand history database.
FTR say that their new Hand History Database will provide users with another means of teaching and learning different aspects of Texas Hold’em. The database will improve the current FTR Hand History Converter tool to store actual Texas Hold’em poker hands submitted by visitors.
The Hand History Converter allows users to paste a poker hand history from various online poker rooms, formatting the data to generate output that is easy to read and understand, along with card graphics if desired. This output can then be copied and pasted in poker forums on the internet for discussion and analysis.
Currently, the FTR Hand History Database contains examples of more than 40,000 actual hands played. Unsurprisingly, the most popular starting Texas Hold’em hand used for discussion is A-A, with over 2,500 actual examples of play. However, it is also possible to see how poker players have played tricky hands like 7-2.
