Filip Verboven wins Unibet Open Prague

After Christian Vanzieleghem's success at the European Deepstack Poker Championship last week comes news of another Belgian success, this time at the opening leg of the 2012 Unibet Open series in Prague.

The Belgian in question this time is Filip Verboven who outlasted a 254-runner field in Prague over the weekend. Verboven pocketed €100,000 after beating Ruggerio Scommegna after a gruelling heads up battle. The Italian took home €56,000 for his efforts.


A word too for our own Alex 'Pickleman' Rousso who enjoyed a deep run, eventually busting out in thirteenth for a score of €3,000.
