Yet another poker player has found himself a decent earner away from the baize. This time it’s Chris Ferguson, who hasn’t, like Phil Hellmuth, invested in alternative health supplements, but hooked up with Glu Mobile to help them shift their World Series of Poker games. The former WSOP champion and five time bracelet winner was announced as the mobile company’s new poster boy at the 12th annual Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles. He will front the WSOP Texas Hold ‘Em mobile game, along with the WSOP player adviser. He will feature as the in-game adviser in the former and offer strategies, tips and advice in the latter. Ferguson himself has described the games as “authentic” and says he’s, “…honoured to be part of these cutting edge products.” Clearly he’s delighted about his latest financial hook up.
