FTOPS X: Nick 'agriffrod' Mitchell Wins the $1.5M Guaranteed

The FTOPS X Series is in full flow at the moment, with players logging in to take their shot at some of the biggest guaranteed prize pools in the online poker world. Here's a quick round up of recent events.
FTOPS X Event #10: $300+22 Mixed Limit saw 667 participants, a little shy of the $250,000 guarantee and offering players a small overlay. Full Tilt red pro Christian Kruel made a good run for the final table but was eliminated in 12th for $2,375. In the end the final table was won by MrMudd76, who won $57,500 for his first place finish, while runner up --DONEY1965-- took home $36,250 for his efforts.

FTOPS X Event 11 was the biggest buy in of the series so far, a $1,000+60 No Limit Hold'em tournament with 1,469 signing up. Like the previous event there was a small overlay to offer players even more value, and again a pro came close to a final table finish. This time it was Roy 'The Oracle' Winston, fresh off coaching Dennis Phillips to a third place finish at the WSOP Main Event, who eventually finished in 22nd here for a $4,950 payout.
The final table saw the inclusion of Nick 'agriffrod' Mitchell, who went in with a dominating chip lead and soon converted that to a win for the $322,500 scoop. Mitchell out-manoeuvred 'RHINOWNED' heads-up, but the second place finisher woke up this morning with $204,000 to console him for missing out on the title.
