PokerStars has revealed details of a trio of extra events for season 8 of the European Poker Tour. The EPT will make its maiden visit to Campione in the beautiful Lugano-Como-Milan region of Italy as well as returning to Madrid and Berlin.

The first of the trio of extra events will take place at the Casino Gran Madrid Torrelodones from 12th to 17th March with EPT Campione following a week later from 26th to 31st March. The EPT caravan then heads north for what has traditionally been one of the biggest events of the year. This year's EPT Berlin will take place from 16th to 21st April, hopefully without the intervention of any bumbling robbers. All three events will have €5,000+€300 buy-ins with a host of side events scheduled for each.

EPT President Edgar Stuchly said: “We’re delighted that the EPT will be returning to two major capital cities in Europe, both of which have proved to be highly popular locations in recent years. We’re also very excited that the tour is for the first time heading to the highly exclusive region of Campione in Italy, further extending the reach of the EPT. ”
