UK football team has announced last night that it has abandoned its online gambling business, leaving customers with bets hanging in the air and unsure as to where their bets would be transferred. Thankfully, with Everton loitering in mid table of the Premier League, it’s highly unlikely that any of them would have been betting on the team to take any sort of honours this season.
It is believed that Everton closed the site after recently tightened UK gambling laws made their position untenable. The news was broken to players via a late night email and it is believed that any outstanding sums will be paid back to punters within the next couple of weeks. Best sticking with the big boys when it comes to playing online it seems.
