Everest Poker has been holding a series of freeroll tournaments to welcome players from Finland, Poland, and Hungary and has announced that it will hold one more set on 15 April 2007.
The poker room recently added support for Finnish, Polish, and Hungarian to its poker software's language options.
'We thought offering up a free poker tournament was the best way to welcome players from these three countries to Everest Poker,' said Jonathan May, Everest Poker property manager. 'Each country will have its own no-limit Hold’em poker tournament with a $0 buy-in and a $150 prize pool.'
The first sets of ‘Welcome’ freeroll tourneys were held on 1and 8 April 2007. The next tournaments in the series will be held on 15 April at 19:00 GMT. The welcome tournaments are only open to players from Poland, Hungary, and Finland.
'I think that once poker players in these countries see how easy it is to win at Everest Poker, they'll be back for more,' May added. 'From playing free Hold’em poker to participating in tournaments that send players to events around the world, Everest Poker offers players at all skill levels the chance to compete.'
