The EPEC began in May, and will culminate in a series of live tournaments across Europe. Though the event is open and free to all comers, the prize is an impressive €100,000. Live games will take place in Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Sweden, Spain, Belgium, Norway, Switzerland, Austria and Portugal, and online country qualifiers are held every Friday evening at 19:00GMT.
Two hundred players will compete in the live stages of the tournament, and current qualifiers include:

'This a tremendous opportunity for players of all stripes to get a chance to play,' said Jonathan May, Everest Poker's property manager. 'We've made it very easy for our players to register through our free poker software,' May added.
