Everest Poker’s first Spanish Cup poker tournament is to be hosted on February 3 but satellite qualifiers are already underway.
Having started on December 18 the satellites will continue to January with a total of 10 online and 3 live satellites to be played. The top five players at each of these tournaments will win $150 and qualify for a seat at the Everest Poker Spanish Cup final in February at the Casino Gran Madrid in Torrelodones, where players will vie for a prize pool totalling €20,000.
The next online satellite takes place today, December 21 at 21:00 GMT. After that, online qualifiers continue until January 25. The live satellites take place at three Spanish venues in January. Full details of all live and online satellites are available at the Everest Poker website.
Additionally, Spanish players have another chance to qualify using Everest Poker’s Summit Points scheme. These points are collected at the online poker tables such that one Summit Point is awarded for every $1 the room collects in rake. The three Spanish players with the highest number of Summit Points during December will obtain an invitation to play in the final on February 3 in Madrid and will win $150.
