Everest Poker has announced that it had begun a series of satellite and direct entry online poker tournaments for seats at the esteemed World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event, to be held in Las Vegas between 6 and 17 July 2007.
'This is one of our favourite events at Everest Poker,' said Jonathan May, Everest Poker property manager. 'The World Series of Poker Main Event is not only prestigious, but it offers unparalleled excitement for the players and fans.'
The site is hosting a series of daily satellite tournaments that give players the opportunity to earn a seat at the bi-weekly Direct Entry events. Buy-in for the daily satellites is $11 plus 1 and the buy-in for the direct entry online poker tournaments is $100 plus 9.
'We're very eager to see how our players perform against the biggest names in the game,' continued May. 'One of the reasons we run daily satellites is to give people with smaller bankrolls the chance to play against the pros and maybe even walk away with one of those bracelets.'
More information about the tournament's structure, including terms and conditions as well as information about daily re-buys, is available at the Everest Poker website.
