European Poker Tour to be Rolled Out in Warsaw

The European Poker Tour (EPT) is has announced that a new event in Warsaw, Poland, has been added to the schedule for Season 3.

The European Poker Tour (EPT) is has announced that a new event in Warsaw, Poland, has been added to the schedule for Season 3.
The inaugural Warsaw EPT will take place between March 14 and 17 2007 with a maximum capacity of 300 players and a 15,000 Zloty buy-in (approximately €3,900).
“An EPT tournament in Poland will help raise the game’s profile in Eastern Europe, and we have secured a world class venue to host the event in Warsaw,” said EPT chief executive John Duthie. “This tournament is not going to be televised, but I see this as an exciting first step for the tour.”
The EPT is Europe’s richest poker tour with over €7m paid out in prize money so far in Season 3. More than 500 players have won EPT seats via PokerStars.com this season.
