European Deepstack Championships Set to Host Top Pros

February will see the Drogheda Poker Club in Ireland host the European Deep Stack Poker Championship. The Main Event promises to be a war of attrition, with the €1,500 buy in giving you a starting stack of 50,000, coupled with a one hour clock.

February will see the Drogheda Poker Club in Ireland host the European Deep Stack Poker Championship. The Main Event promises to be a war of attrition, with the €1,500 buy in giving you a starting stack of 50,000, coupled with a one hour clock. Room for manoeuvre – and oversleep – aplenty.
The series that runs from 2nd-10th February has already seen a list of pros sign up for its Main Event. Those confirmed include Poker Million champion Joe Beevers, Barny Boatman, Praz Bansi, Karl Mahrenholz, and Julian Thew.
Kicking off the series is a two-day short-handed Hold'em event starting 2nd February with a €550 buy-in. Players will begin with €20,000 chips and will run on a one-hour clock. An Omaha event will begin on 4th February with the same starting stack and one-hour clock as well.
