Antonio Esfandiari is the latest big name set to take part in the $1m Big One For One Drop tournament which begins on Sunday 1st July.
The Magician had been looking for backers to take part in the event and it looks like they have come up trumps as Esfandiari yesterday tweeted, “Thanks for all the support. No more pieces available for One Drop. Wiiish me luck !!”The two-time World Poker Tour winner has already gone deep in this year's WSOP, unluckily busting out in third place in the $3k Shootout which was eventually won by the UK's Craig McCorkell.Despite the tweet, Esfandiari's name is still to appear on the official Big One For One Drop Entry list, which currently stands at 42 runners.
