The first event of the AlamoPoker.com Tour has been won by Eric Mizrachi in Palm Springs, California. The ‘Circle of Outlaws’ professional player won $25,00 for his efforts over the two-day tournament, which raised funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
The field for the event included more than 100 professional poker players including Marcel Luske 'The Flying Dutchman,' professional athletes, such as Dan 'Hollywood' Henderson and Carlos Polk of the San Diego Chargers along with a host of celebrities, which included Don Felder, guitarist of legendary rock band, Eagles.
Also in the mix were several players who gained entry through on-line freerolls held by AlamoPoker.com.
J. Fisch, Marketing Director for AlamoPoker.com said, ‘Most important is that the event was for charity and Cystic Fibrosis should really be the beneficiary of the tournament. I'm looking forward to raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at future events.’
The AlamoPoker.com Tour moves onto San Antonio for the next tournament.
