A veritable who's who of tournament talent was on hand at the Bike for the shoot out event at NAPT, Los Angeles and in the end it was Eric Baldwin who proved the sharpest shooter.
Baldwin outlasted a final table that featured Michael Mizrachi, Tom Rachese, David Williams, Pat Pezzin, November Niner Kevin MacPhee, Eric “basebaldy” Baldwin, Moshin Charania, Justin Young and Clint Coffee to walk away with almost $160,000 in prize money. With the clock approaching 4am it looked like it would take a cooler to find a winner and that's exactly what happened. All the chips went into the middle with Baldwin holding Kings against Young's AQ. The board provided no help to either player leaving Baldwin to celebrate a notable win."It's bitter sweet. We genuinely are good friends," Baldwin said of Young. "But it's a pretty prestigious event and a really tough field. It's very gratifying to finally seal the deal." Young had some consolation for his runner up finish though. After claiming the most bounties throughout the event he earned himself a seat in the shoot out event at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure.1. Eric Baldwin ($134,280 + $20,000 + $3,000 in bounties)2.
