The Bad Beat Jackpot at the Empire Casino in London has been hit again with one lucky player pocketing £24,727.50.
Owen Li was the recipient of the bonus payout after his AAAKK ran into Ripon Ahmed's quad aces during a £1/£2 game on 1st March. Ahmed collected £12,363.75 with the six other players involved in the hand each taking £1,648.50. Twenty other players who were fortunate enough to be in the cardroom at the time the Bad Beat Jackpot hit also pocketed £274.75.Hoan Tran, Club Director at the Empire: “It’s fantastic that our Bad Beat Jackpot has been won again for the third time in less than three months! The jackpot will be reseeded with £11,962.25-the full reseed amount’.
