The stacked line up at next month's PartyPoker Premier League just got even tougher with the news that French tournament legend Bertrand 'ElkY' Grospellier will be playing.
The $125,000 buy-in event already features Patrik Antonius, Vanessa Selbst, Sam Trickett, Tony G, Luke ‘FullFlush’ Schwartz, Erik Seidel, Andy Frankenberger, Yevgeniy Timoshenko, Eugene Katchalov, Tom Dwan, Phil Laak and Daniel Cates. One extra player will join the line-up before it gets under way on 4th April, with two players qualifying through the play-offs.ElkY said, “This will be the first time I have taken part in the Premier League and I'm super excited to compete with all those great players in such a unique and interesting format."Organisers have also confirmed that Matt Savage will be taking on the tournament director duties.“I’m very excited to be a part of the Premier League. I have long been a fan of the format as it brings together some of the world's best players with the greatest personalities in the game,” said Matt. “WPT Vienna has quickly turned into a must-attend poker festival and its importance on the global poker calendar will only continue to grow.”The Premier League takes place just before WPT Vienna which runs from 10-15 April. Qualifiers for the €3,500 Main Event are up and running at PartyPoker.com.
