ESPN.com’s Inside Deal aired this week with discussions of the upcoming Caesar’s Cup at the World Series of Poker Europe. The PokerStars-sponsored show confirmed Phil Hellmuth and John Juanda as joining Team America alongside Phil Ivey and captain Daniel Negreanu.

After results from the PokerStars Sunday Million, the APT Macau and Doyle Brunson’s Hall of Shame (all of which were reported at BluffEurope.com rather than on Inside Deal first, we might add) the guest of the week, second-place November Nine final tablist Eric Buchman.

“My brother got me interested in it. We’d play in clubs in New York and go to Atlantic City,” the young online player said. “Final table experience is invaluable when it comes to improving your game and performing under pressure.”

Buchman is in a difficult position with three shorter stacks sitting to his left in November, which will limit his aggressive play. However, he has experience in live final table situations – two runner-up finishes in WSOP and WSOP Circuit tournaments should prepare him for THE final table of the year.

On the young guns of poker, Full Tilt pro and co-owner Howard Lederer stated that: “I feel like 2009 was really the true arrival of the internet player, the player who got started in 2004 and finally got enough live play under their feet.”
