Short stacks fold as Juanda, Vamplew and Bowker play poker

Monday, 4 October 2010

The action is still fairly dry at the EPT London final table with pre-flop pots being the order of the day. However, Edinburgh maths graduate David Vamplew has been making some moves.

He recently lost a decent clip to Juanda when he check-called a drawy board and turned top pair against a set, paying off the Full Tilt pro who had flopped a set. In their last encounter, he raised the turn in the same situation to take a big pot away.

The chip counts six-handed are as follows:

1. John Juanda - 10,200,000

2. Kyle Bowker - 7,100,000

3. David Vamplew - 4,800,000

4. Artur Wasek - 1,800,000

5. Kayvan Payman - 950,000

6. Fernando Brito - 510,000
