Per Ummer finishes in 8th place (£66,800)

Monday, 4 October 2010

Tom Marchese, online whizzkid known best as 'kingsofcards', doubled up through Per Ummer to leave the 51-year-old Swede badly shortstacked. He got his last 490,000 in the middle at 40,000/80,000 and was quickly called.

Up against A-Q, it could have been worse for Ummer. However, a Q-8-7 flop left him all but dead and a ten on the turn sealed the deal, sending him home in eighth place but with a £66,800 payday to console him.

added Ummer's chips to his stack and left us with the following order of chip counts:

1. John Juanda

2. Kyle Bowker

3. David Vamplew

4. Tom Marchese

5. Kayvan Payman

6. Fernando Brito

7. Artur Wasek

8. Per Ummer (busted - £66,800)
