The European Poker Tour is making a welcome return to Portugal's beautiful Algarve this Autumn and PokerStars is giving players the opportunity to be there.

The €5,300 EPT Vilamoura has been brought forward this year, running from 28th August until 2nd September 2010. The new dates should make it that much easier for players to take advantage of the wonderful Portuguese climate and the fantastic golf courses in the area.

PokerStars has announced details of qualifiers for the Main Event worth €7,330 that include the €5,330 buy in, hotel accommodation at the new Crowne Plaza hotel and €770 expenses. Satellites are now up and running at PokerStars starting from just €5.45 or 50FPPs.

Home favourite Antonio Matias took the €404,793 first prize last year, beating a final table that included chess turned poker prodigy Jeff Sarwer and EPT Prague winner Jan Skampa. A host of big names are expected to play this year with newly created PokerStars Pro Vanessa Selbst the latest top pro added to the line up.
