EPT Vienna starts today

Tuesday, 26 October 2010

The European Poker Tour heads to Austria for its latest stop with the historic Kursalon Palace in Vienna the venue for the week-long festival.

The first of two €5,000 Main Event opening flights starts today with the eventual winner set to pocket a first prize of at least €500,000. In addition to the Main Event there is a host of side action on offer including a €1,100 HORSE event and a €10,000 NLHE contest for the high rollers.

It's been five years since the EPT last visited Vienna when Pierre Perrault took the honours. A sign of how big the EPT has become is that Perrault took home $184,500, despite it being the best attended event that year. This year's winner can expect a much bigger pay day. Join us over the next few days to find out who that lucky winner will be.
