EPT Prague Set to be Bigger than Ever

This year's EPT Prague looks set to be a hive of activity thanks to roster of 59 tournaments.

Traditionally one of the most popular stops on the festival's calendar, this year's event will take place between December 7 and 17 and feature more MTTs than almost any other EPT before it.

In addition to staple fixtures, such as the Eureka Poker Tour Main Event and the EPT Prague Main Event, the festival will feature a slew of new additions, including the first EPT 50,000 Super High Roller to take place in the Czech capital.

As well as the open events, EPT Prague will also be some novel events, including a Super Hold'em and Irish Hold'em tournament. However, the most intriguing has to be the "juniors" event.

Designed for players who are 21-years-old and younger, the tournament will be a chance for the game's rising stars to show off their skills and clinch a piece of EPT glory without having to battle with the likes of Daniel Negreanu or ElkY.

Last season the festival welcomed nearly 9,000 players across 47 events and this time around the organisers are hoping to smash that number thanks to an even greater number of tournament choices.
