Despite the Main Event being over there are still a whole host of smaller side events at the EPT Grand Final in Madrid. Two big names have taken two big titles with Andrew “luckychewy” Lichtenberger defeating Brian Hastings for the €5,000 Heads-Up title, taking home €70,000.

In addition, €25k High Roller champion Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier triumphed over the €10,300 Turbo High Roller field to earn an additional €153,000 on top of the €525,000 he took home earlier in the week. He is due to play the Tournament of Champions today and Tweeted: “2 in a row for the 1st time?”

In the heads-up event, Lichtenberger defeated high stakes regular Brian Hastings heads-up for the victory over a field of 32, winning €70,000 to Hastings’s €46,200. The deepest run by a Brit was that of James Akenhead, who finished third after losing out to Hastings and earned €19,000.
