EPT Loutraki starts today

Tuesday, 15 November 2011

The PokerStars European Poker Tour heads to Loutraki this week for its first ever tournament in Greece. The action in the €4,400 Main Event has just got under way with plenty of big names on hand for the first of two opening day flights.

136 players have bought in so far with last year's EPT Barcelona winner Kent Lundmark and Tom 'Kingofcards' Marchese amongst the early pace setters. Other notables taking their seats today include former EPT winners Rupert Elder and David Vamplew, triple crown holder Roberto Romanello and McLean Karr and Carlo Citrone who appear to be vying for the best Movember tache of the year.

The second opening day flight gets under way tomorrow morning with the winner crowned on Sunday. As usual there's a full raft of side events scheduled.
