EPT Deauville Enters the Money

Thursday, 7 February 2013

Five 90 minute levels and 103 eliminations was the tale of Day 3 at EPT Deauville, yesterday.

When the chips had finally settled it was Shahaf Hadaya who held the largest stack with 1,237,000 chips; however, before his triumphant rise a number of notable eliminations took place.

Indeed, in a day defined by the bubble, a host of famous faces, including Ana Marquez, Steve O’Dwyer and Vanessa Rousso, all fell just short of an ROI boost finish.

Once the bubble had burst the pace increased as players lost their inhibitions and focus on bagging enough chips to see out the day.

Two players who barely moved from their positions at the top of the chip counts were James Mitchell (983,000) and Sam Grafton (985,000).

The British duo finished in fourth and third respectively, just behind Matthieu Herve who returns later today with 1,050,000 chips.

The chip leaders are as follows:

Shahaf Hadaya 1,237,000
Matthieu Herve 1,050,000
Samuel Grafton 985,000
James Mitchell 983,000
Aurelien Guiglini 942,000
James Bills 877,000
Hugo Pingray 768,000
Jeffrey Hakim 714,000
Cyril Andre 669,000
Enrico Rudelitz 643,000
