EPT Campione Day 3 complete; Vamplew and Kaiser alive

Friday, 30 March 2012

Day 3 of the PokerStars European Poker Tour in Campione is wrapped up with the money bubble burst and just 24 players remaining in contention. Leading the way is Jannick Wrang, who is an average stack ahead of second place Fabrice Soulier.

Though we lost big names including ElkY, Liv Boeree and Roberto Romanello it is still a tough field with Soulier and Olivier Busquet in the top ten chip counts. Also still alive are former EPT champions David Vamplew (11th) and Ronny Kaiser (24th) who can become the first two-time EPT champions by taking this €640,000 prize.

The leading chip counts going into the penultimate day are as follows:

Jannick Wrang 1742000
Fabrice Soulier 1230000
Robin Ylitalo 1221000
Mario Nagel 1125000
Simeon Naydenov 1076000
Ramin Hajiyev 1000000
Olivier Busquet 973000
Alexandre Andermatt 968000
Koen De Visscher 858000
Giuseppe Biancoviso 820000
