24 became eight at EPT Barcelona yesterday with Giuseppe Pantaleo leading the way as we head to the final table.

The Italian sounding German has a massive chip lead going into the final day, his 5.655m stack a full 1.5m ahead of closest rival, Russia's Konstantin Puchkov. Spain's Jesus Cortes Lizano is next on 3.8m with Dutchman Shander De Vries in fourth on 3.12m. Sweden's Kent Lundmark has 3.02m followed by Thor Stang from Norway and Georgios Skotadis from Greece on 1.14m. Italian Francesco Notaro rounds off a truly international field as the short stack with 745k.

All eight players are guaranteed a pay day of at least €70,000 but will have eyes on a monstrous first prize of €825,000. The action resumes at noon tomorrow local time. You can follow the action live at PokerStars.tv.
