EPT Announces Some of Season 6’s Schedule

Today the PokerStars European Poker Tour announced the first seven dates for its upcoming Season 6 schedule, expected to be the largest ever with a staggering 13 overall stops.

This includes the new EPT Moscow, which kicks off the Season 6 schedule in August. PokerStars has also begun online qualifiers for the EPT Moscow stop, beginning today

According to EPT CEO John Duthie, “This year’s EPT will be bigger and better than ever, kicking off in August in one of our new scheduled destinations – magnificent Moscow in Russia. Overall, the tour will visit an unprecedented thirteen countries - an increase of four events on top of last season. As well as Russia, the tour will include new stops in Portugal this November and other destinations to be announced shortly.”

The first seven stops are as follows:

August 17-23, 2009:
EPT Russia Open (Moscow, Russia) $6,900, 600-player cap

September 4-9, 2009
EPT Barcelona Open (Barcelona, Spain) $11,590, 700-player cap

October 1-7, 2009
EPT London Open (London, England) $8,370, 800-player cap

October 20-25, 2009
EPT Warsaw Open (Warsaw, Poland) $6,460, 400-player cap

November 17-22, 2009
EPT Vilamoura (Vilamoura, Portugal) $7,400, 600-player cap

December 1-6, 2009
EPT Prague Open (Prague, Czech Republic) $7,400, 600-player cap

January 4-14, 2010
PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (Nassau, Bahamas), $10,600, 1600-player cap
