Durrrr and Ivey in huge cash game action

Saturday, 13 November 2010

A host of top pros have headed to Macau for the Asian Poker Tour event and while tournament action has been interesting it's the enormous cash games that have been the major talking point.

According to noted tournament director Matt Savage, Phil Ivey, Tom 'Durrrr' Dwan, Chau Giang and John Juanda have locked horns with some extremely wealthy Chinese businessmen in what appear to be some of the biggest nosebleed cash games ever staged.

Savage posted on TwoPlusTwo.com that the No Limit Hold'em cash game featured blinds of up to HK$5,000/HK$10,000 (around £400/£800) with over $5m on the table at one point.

According to Savage, it's former WSOPE Main Event winner John Juanda who has been the big winner so far with Durrrr, Ivey and Giang down a few million HK$ combined.
