Duhamel robbery suspect expected to plead guilty

Yesterday we brought you news that the court appearance of the woman accused of masterminding the home invasion of former World Champ Jonathan Duhamel had been delayed following an 'incident' at a detention centre.

It now appears as if Bianca Rojas-Latraverse will be admitting her involvement when she does finally appear in court this Friday. In an interview, the accused's lawyer, Sarah Desabrais, said that her client had “decided to plead guilty.” adding, “She wants to have a clear conscience, move along with her life and get this behind her.”


20-year-old Rojas-Latraverse, an ex-girlfriend of Duhamel is accused of masterminding the home invasion and robbery of the 2010 Main Event winner. She faces charges of conspiracy, kidnapping, break and enter, armed robbery and assault causing bodily harm.


Two other men, John-Stephen Clark-Lemay, 22, and Anthony Bourque, 20, are also charged with armed robbery, breaking and entering, forced confinement, assault and conspiracy.
