Notables to survive the second opening flight in Johannesburg were EPT San Remo winner Rupert Elder (46,200), PokerStars pro Leo Margets (34,500) and last year's runner up Jerome Bradpiece (11,850). Joining them later today will be an impressive list of day 1a survivors including defending champ Dominik Nitsche, Gaelle Baumann, Barny Boatman, Ana Marquez, Bryn Kenney and Faraz Jaka.
