Dominik Nitsche's WSOPE Offer

Dominik Nitsche's WSOPE Offer

Thursday, 17 September 2015

German professional poker player Dominik Nitsche is offering to give away five percent of anything he wins in the main event of the forthcoming World Series Of Poker Europe (WSOPE).

After qualifying for the €10,450 ($11,834) buy-in tournament online, the ambassador for 888Poker came up with the idea of holding a pair of bounty tournaments with the ultimate prize being five percent of his WSOPE main event pay-day.

The WSOPE is set to kick off at the Spielbank Berlin Casino from October 18 but Nitsche will precede this with his Dominik Nitsche Berlin Bounty tournaments at 888Poker on September 22 and 29. Each of these will offer $88 in cash for knocking out the 25-year-old along with entry to Event #2 at the WSOPE worth $600.

But, those who finish in the top-ten of either bounty event will receive free entry to a 30-player finale on October 4 where the winner will receive five percent of any money the Nitsche wins in the Berlin main event of the WSOPE.

Although it is possible Nitsche will crash and burn in the upcoming main event, it's worth remembering that he finished in fourth place in 2013 for €400,000 ($452,816) and any repeat of this would see one lucky player in line for a pay out of €20,000 ($22,642).
