Numbers may have been down in the French capital for the Euro Finals of Poker but there were no such concerns in Spain's largest city with a bumber field of 632 runners on hand for the Madrid leg of the PokerStars Estrellas Poker Tour.

After five days of action it was 18-year-old Adrian Mateos Diaz who was celebrating after claiming his first big title. The Spaniard agreed a chop with countryman Jose Alvarez Alvarez and Scotland's Richard Milne before playing on for the title.


After Milne departed in third with €81,000 it took Diaz less than an hour to become the Estrellas Poker Tour's first season 4 winner. He also pocketed an extra €5,000 for his troubles.
