What do you buy the poker player who has everything? Well if you've got a spare $100,000 down the back of the sofa you could always place a bid on a diamond encrusted poker set which goes up for auction next Tuesday.

The set, which was made by the Swedish artist and jeweller Kristian Ståhl, comprises 120 chips made from an 800,000 year old meteorite, framed in18k white gold and set with 5,160 gems including diamonds, rubies and sapphires. Also included are five dice made from the tusk of an extinct Siberian woolly mammoth, two decks of playing cards and a luxury leather case.

According to Ståhl, “The chipset is the result of a mixture of extraordinary design skills, imaginative artistry and a desire to create a beautiful piece of jewellery art. Indeed, no effort has been spared to create this unique product.”

The set goes up for auction at Christie's in Hong Kong on Tuesday 29th November and is expected to reach a price of $100,000-$150,000.
