Struggling online poker room Devilfish Poker has been taken over by an as yet unnamed company for £330,000.
The deal will see Devilfish Poker receive £40,000 in cash with the rest made up in an issue of ordinary shares in the new company that will be traded on London's Alternative Investment Market. “The sale has not yet been completed and is subject to satisfactory completion of due diligence and legal process,” read a statement from Altrincham-based Devilfish Gaming. “A further announcement with more detail will be made once the sale has been completed.”Keep up to date with all the news from the poker world by following us on Twitter and Facebook.
