Devilfish Poker launches weekly live tournament

Thursday, 6 August 2009

Ireland’s newest poker venue, the Voodoo Card Club in Arran Quay, Dublin will be the venue for a weekly event hosted by Devilfish Poker. The so-called Devilfish Night takes place every Thursday at 8.30pm and will feature a €25+5 buy-in Second Life tournament with starting stacks of 3,000 chips, a 3,000 chip re-buy and a 20 minute clock.

The €5 registration fee will be waived throughout August and players will also have the opportunity to win a limited edition Devilfish chip set.

The Voodoo Club also features state of the art Internet facilities so players can play online if they bust out early.

Dave "Devilfish" Ulliott, ambassador for the online poker site, said, "I love Dublin and made my name as a live poker player so I'm excited by the prospect of having somewhere to play next time I'm in Dublin. This is the first step in bringing the Devilfish experience to live players at an affordable price and I look forward to helping develop the night into something special."

Play online at Devilfish Poker and take part in their weekly €666 Freerolls and Devilfish bounty tournaments.
