The DeepStacks Poker Tour will be setting sail across the Atlantic Ocean in October for a first-ever London leg due to be held at Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford City.

The move is an effort by the Los Angeles-based DeepStacks Poker Tour to push its brand and make it a more complete poker tour with the five-day action due to kick off on October 22 featuring a selection of travelling pros including representatives Mike Matusow, Michael Mizrachi and Tristan Wade.

“Our goal has always been to increase our global footprint in key strategic markets like the United Kingdom,” said Chris Torina, Chief Executive Officer for the DeepStacks Poker Tour.

“Partnering with Aspers Casino, the number-one gaming destination in London, is very exciting and we look forward to a great event.”

The main event for the London leg of the DeepStacks Poker Tour will cost £650 to enter with the series also set to visit Canada and Malta.

“The first time I sat down with Chris Torina to discuss the possibility of bringing the DeepStacks Poker Tour to London, I knew we could do something really special,” said John Scanlon, Head of Poker for Aspers.

“The idea is to connect players from both sides of the Atlantic for an exciting event in the English capital.”
