Day 1c complete at Aussie Millions main event

Day 1c complete at Aussie Millions main event

Wednesday, 27 January 2010

The Aussie Millions $10,500 main event reached the same high numbers it has been hitting since its inception, with a total of 746 players in 2010. That's an increase on last year of 65 players and is just 34 players short of the 2008 record.

This means the prize pool has been announced and 72 players are going to make the money, with a top prize of a staggering $2,000,000 AUD. Every player at the six-handed final table will be guaranteed at least a quarter of a million Australian dollars.

Tony G, Josh “JJProdigy” Fields and Mark Vos – not on a shortstack for once – are all in the hunt for the final table, but Day 2 is underway now and 91 players are still in contention for the top spot.
