Dave Brawn wins Masters Poker League Grand Final

The Grand Final of the Masters Poker League took place at Dudley’s Castle Gate Casino last week. It was Dave Brawn who emerged victorious to claim the winner takes all first prize worth £6,000.

The Grand Final was contested by 139 players who qualified by accumulating points in a series of pub based leagues throughout the midlands. Brawn, a regular at the Tuesday night game at the Crosswells Inn, Oldbury defeated Spencer Collins heads up to claim the £5,000 in cash plus casino vouchers.


The delighted winner said “I would like to say a big thank you to everyone involved in the Masters Poker League. During the 2 years it has been running I have met many new friends and had some memorable games and nights” adding “if anyone from the Brawn GP F1 team reads this, I’m open to sponsorship from my namesake!”
