Daniel Nutt wins Dusk Till Dawn Main Event

Daniel Nutt has won the Dusk Till Dawn Grand Slam Main event in Nottingham, picking up a cheque for £81,250. The former warehouseman from Byfleet outlasted a field of 191 runners before beating Peter Charalamobus heads up to claim the victory in the £1,000 buy in event.

The final day's action started quickly with the Sunday Six quickly reduced to five after James Mitchell was knocked out in the first hand of the day. Pete Conduit was the next to go, his A4 unable to crack William Martin's 99. Martin bowed out in 4th, his top pair outdrawn by Tasos Grigoriou's flush on the river. Grigoriou's luck ran out against Daniel Nutt though. His AK outdrawn by AQ to give Nutt a monster pot. Nutt, a regular at London's Big Slick took control heads up hitting a flush to beat Charalombus' pair of jacks before sealing the win with an unlikely holding of 74.

Peter Linton took down the £150 buy-in side event, defeating Te Ng Cao heads up to take the £2,457 first prize. The final positions were as follows:
