Fledgling TV network Poker Central has added some star power to its new 24/7 offering after signing up Daniel Negreanu as a partner.

"We are excited to add Daniel to the Poker Central team," said Clint Stinchcomb, chief executive officer of Poker Central. "Daniel is a great ambassador of the game and will help take televised poker to new heights."

The new station hopes to hit the airwaves later this year with more professional players set to join Negreanu as partners 'in the coming weeks'.

The network is the chief mover behind the massive $500,000 buy-in Super High Roller Bowl which will take place at the Aria from 2-4 July. An estimated prize pool of $25m has already attracted a stellar field with the likes of Phil Galfond, Daniel Cates, Erik Seidel, Sam Trickett and Phil Ivey all expected to play.

Poker Central's new signing is also set to play too. Speaking about the new deal, Negreanu said, “"I am thrilled to join the Poker Central team," said Daniel Negreanu. "I can't wait to help make 24/7 Poker a reality."
