Day 3 of the Latin American Poker Tour Grand Final in Sao Paulo has concluded with Daniel Negreanu highlighting a final table of eight. Negreanu has made his first LAPT cash a big one by guaranteeing himself at least US$26,340.

Negreanu has become the first to make it to EPT, APPT and LAPT final tables though he is yet to find a win in any of the events. He is fifth in chips and looking to make this his first PokerStars-sponsored title.


Leading the field is German player Daniele Nestola, who has 50% more chips than second place Carlos Ibarra. The winner of the event is set to take home over $320,000.


The final table chip counts and seating assignments are as follows:


1. Felipe Morbiducci – 347,000
2. Daniel Negreanu – 702,000
3. Jonathan Markovits – 991,000
4. Carlos Ibarra – 1,29,000
5. Daniele Nestola – 1,892,000
6. Juan Gonzalez – 548,000
7. Gasperino Nicolas – 1,190,000
8. Vitor Torres – 273,000
