After three opening flights and a very lengthy Day 2 the PokerStars APPT Grand Final in Sydney is down to 32 players and in the money. Leading the field is Jonathan Karamalikis, better known online as xMONSTERxDONGx and a contender for the best online poker screenname awards.

Karamalikis, who has over $2.3m in online tournament winnings, is an Australian native and leads the field as the only player to have built up to over 600,000. UK pro and WSOPE final tabler Roland de Wolfe isn’t far behind though, currently sitting in fourth place in the chip counts.

Daniel Negreanu has also found his way to at least a mincash, having built up a stack of over 300,000 by the time the bubble burst at 32 players. With everyone at the final table guaranteed AUD $36,415 and the first prize coming to AUD $459,510 though that’s what everybody is aiming for.
