Daniel Cates has cemented his place as one of the best cash players in the world by topping the 2014 online money list.

Jungleman12 earned $2,805,751 on his Full Tilt account and added $631,288 under his w00ki3z moniker on PokerStars. All told, Cates boosted his bankroll by $3,437,039 during 2014.

Joining Cates heavily in the black were the likes of 'puntin-peddler' (+ $2,572,989), Patrik Antonius (+$1,683,538), Isaac Haxton (+$1,541,060) and Doug Polk ($1,077,969).

Unsurprisingly it was Gus Hansen who topped the year's biggest losers. The Dane dropped a whopping $5,865,263. It wasn't a good year for fomer Full Tilt pros with Phil Ivey (- $2,372,298) and Viktor 'Isildur1' Blom (- $1,698, 911) also among 2014's biggest online losers.

Rounding out the top five were Crazy Elior (- $1,222,910) and Phil Galfond (- $1,092,098).

Despite his troubles last year, Ivey remains the most successful online cash game player of all time. Gus Hansen is by far the biggest online loser. The 2014 figures take the 40-year-old's losses into the red to the tune of over $20m.
