273 players were on hand for the second of two opening flights at the WPT Bay 101 Shooting Stars event and by the close of play just 117 were left with Chris Trapiani bagging a $10k bonus for being the overnight chip leader with a stack of 197,900.

Trapiani jumped to the top of the leader board after winning a huge pot against Erick Lindgren. Both players tabled pocket Kings but the board gave Trapani a flush to send E-Dog to the rail.

Kara Scott's amazing journey from host of the sadly missed Poker Night Live to top pro continues. The Canadian resumes in twelfth place.

In all 417 players bought in creating a prize pool of $3,697,500. 45 players will make the money with the min cash set at $15,000. The top six finishers will all make a six-figure score with the winner set to talk away a millionaire with a first prize of $1,039,000.
